The City of Malakoff offers approximately 2700 friendly people.  Education is super in our area.  We have Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, Navarro College in Corsicana, Tyler Junior College in Tyler and the University of Texas at Tyler.  Locally, we have a high school, middle school and two brand new elementaries, one in Malakoff and the other in Tool.  We are close to hospitals and have a wide variety of doctors.  Malakoff is centrally located.  We are about 45 miles from Tyler, Texas, approximately 30 miles from Corsicana and are 65 miles southeast of Dallas.
The Malakoff Chamber of Commerce is an active chamber with many business members, as well as individuals.  Our chamber office is open Monday - Friday 10a.m. to 2p.m.
