MEXICAN CORNBREAD WITH GROUND BEEF
1 Cup Yellow
Corn Meal
2 eggs Well beaten
1 cup sweet milk
1/2
teaspoon soda
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 - #303 can of Yellow Cream Style Corn
1/2 cup or less Bacon Drippings
1 pound ground beef sauteed and drained well
1 large onion finely chopped
1/2 pound Longhorn Cheese grated

Jalepeno Peppers chopped
Mix first 7 ingredients - set aside. Grease large black iron skillet.
Heat. Sprinkle thin layer of corn meal in skillet and brown. Pour half of batter in skillet, then meat, nten onions,
peppers and cheese. Pour remaining batter over top
Bake 40 to 45 minutes in 350 degree oven
